Being the main person that worked on packaging at Forney Industries, I have worked on over 3,000 different pieces. From complex die lines of a welding helmet or pressure washer kit, to a simple blister package. Through my time at Forney, the design of the packaging had changed from a gradient to the iconic Forney green. I have been instrumental in working on all of this packaging to get it to the suppliers and then the retail stores.
By having a simplified design, this ensures that the packaging will work cohesively together when displayed on the shelf. The designs were also adjusted for each brand under the Forney name, such as Command PRO. and Forney PRO. Regardless of the brand, green and black were always incorporated into the design. Icons were added to packaging to help customers find product easier in the stores.
